As her senior project, Quincy Junior-Senior High School senior Natalee Olhiser raised funds to purchase four automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) for the Quincy area community. AEDs were placed at Quincy High, the local softball fields, and at Plumas Charter School's Quincy Learning Center.
Olhiser raised funds through a partnership with Carey Candy Co., and through donations from local businesses. She received support in her project from Care Flight's EMS supervisor Sam Blesse.
"Thank you so much to Natalee, and to all the individuals and businesses who supported this project for the safety of our community," said PCS Executive Director Taletha Washburn.
