Quincy Site to benefit from Oct fundraisers

The local nonprofit, Mountain Valley Parents Club will host two parent-night-out events in Quincy this October. 

 

Wine Night is the first event and takes place Saturday, October 1 from 6-9 p.m. at the Drunk Brush Wine Bar in downtown Quincy. Attendees are invited to enjoy an evening of wine tasting and gourmet appetizers. There will also be door prizes and a DJ. Tickets are $50 and available at the event or at Plumas Charter School Quincy 1425 E. Main St. 

 

Then, on Saturday, October 22, community members 21 and older are invited to dance the night away at the Wedding Rewind. The adult dance will take place at the Tulsa Scott building at the fairgrounds in Quincy at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to show up in their best wedding attire from past to present. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed individuals and couples. Tickets are $25 for individuals and $40 for couples and are available at Carey Candy downtown and at Plumas Charter School Quincy 1425 E. Main St. 

 

The MVP Club serves as the independent support organization for Plumas Charter School, and all proceeds will go to the Quincy site which serves kindergarten through twelfth grade students.
