Plumas Charter School, through partnership with
Plumas Unified School District, implemented a new option available to schools
participating in the
National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs
called the
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for 2019-2020 school year. This has been renewed for the 2020-2021 school year.
What does this mean for PCS students? Great news!
All enrolled students of Plumas Charter School are eligible to receive a
healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to households
each day of the school year. No further action is required of families. Children will be able to participate in these meal programs
without having to pay a fee or submit an application. Breakfast and
lunch counts will be performed each day.
For more information on the CEP program, please contact Amber Russell,
the PUSD food service program manager, at (530) 283-6500, ext. 5835.
