Plumas Charter School has announced plans to expand its Quincy campus, marking a significant step forward in meeting the growing needs of students and families in the area.
The school recently acquired the property adjacent to the Quincy Learning Center, where increased activity has been visible in recent weeks. Plans for the site include renovating the existing structure on that property and relocating a school-owned three-classroom building from Taylorsville to the new location.
School leadership anticipates that construction and development will take place throughout much of the 2026–2027 school year, though there is hope the project may be completed sooner.
The expansion is expected to provide additional classroom capacity while also creating more space for student activities and programs, supporting the continued growth of the Quincy Learning Center.
Plumas Charter School officials say they will continue to share updates and progress photos with families and the community as the project moves forward.
The Quincy campus expansion reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to providing flexible, student-centered learning environments and meeting the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
