Enrichment Vendors
Like most California public schools, Plumas Charter received a share of federal stimulus funding in 2009, the purpose of which was to boost local economies through increasing education-related employment. PCS has decided to use a part of these funds to offer students access to enrichment activities.
This means that if our students choose to participate in group lessons in art, dance, music, drama, athletics or martial arts provided by an approved instructor, PCS will pay that instructor $10 per lesson, or $40 per month towards the cost of instruction.
If you are a parent and would like your child to receive enrichment instruction, please contact your ES, who will explain how to arrange it. If you are an instructor and are interested in providing lessons to PCS students, the attached procedure outlines the process of becoming approved. If you decide to proceed with the approval process, you can have a Vendor Application Packet sent to you via email or U.S. Mail; simply call Administrative Secretary Shannon Mallory at 283-3851 to request it. |
