Now in it’s tenth year, Plumas Charter School is a member of the California Charter Schools Association, Charter Schools Development Center, and CharterVoice.  Plumas Charter School's high school program is accredited by WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The California Charter Schools Association (the "Association") is the membership and professional organization serving the charter public schools in the state of California. Our mission is to increase student achievement by supporting and expanding charter public schools throughout California. Charter public schools offer an important and timely public school option to address the challenges facing our traditional education system and fulfill the demand for high-quality options in education. There are currently 574 charter public schools in California serving over 200,000 students. The Association's vision is that by 2014, more than 10 percent of California public school students, representing over 670,000 students, will be attending high quality charter schools.
